I'm thinking of getting an iphone

just wanted your thoughts on them good or bad

is it worth getting one?

I have one, but in the end I very rarely use it for what I bought it for, games, anyway, yes, it's a great device.

What's the primary reason do you want one? I use it a lot: For reading the newspaper, reading books, planning my weekly schedule, browsing WP, for checking an address with the GPS, even doing sketches and occasionally playing some games. I've posted my thoughts about it in some threads: link, link
Oh and for music too, but rarely! lol

I went for the Android cause I am a machine, and computerlove slept with all the iphone fan girls anyway.

They are awesome devices as a matter of fact, I would definitely recommend it, I own a iPod Touch which is based on the iPhone.

The games and the apps are awesome and I use it rather frequently if I wanted to.
I even use it when i'm at college or when i'm at places with wifi.... but the iPhone would work anywhere basically.

So if you are willing to pay a big price for it, I say go ahead.

I have the iPhone 3G 16 gigabyte model and I will be eligible for an upgrade to either
the 3GS or whatever fourth generation model that comes out six months from now.
And I also have the iPod touch second generation also 16Gig storage.

I also got a MobileMe account that I can use for tracking and remotely wiping the
phone in the event of loss or theft.
