Observing how fast snow melts, seriously, I tend to stare at snow to see how fast it melts.

Anyone else do this???

Snow is totally interesting to watch in its various stages. My NT wife is into this as well. This is a shared interest we have.

She particularly loves all the patterns ( fractals? ) like rounded triangles, in ice. The kind you find in shoe- prints in frozen mud where the snow melts and refreezes overnight.

Snowdrifts are amazing.

Granulated refrozen snow is interesting.

I saw the last patch of melting snow on someone's back garden today.

I get it.

Ever trickle water into a glass full of ice to watch the melt patterns?
