I am trying to quit today. I feel like I am coming out of my skin. I hate everybody and everyone sucks.

Get some advice on how to quit, sometimes finding other ways to quit smoking, you could try chewing gum whenever you have the urge to smoke something or you could try one of those nicotine patches which gradually helps you to quit smoking.

There is also this thing that you inhale into which also helps you to stop, I don't know the exact name to it exactly though, but apparently it does help.

Hopefully this is helpful information?

What makes you think everybody sucks?

I think what Superboyian is thinking is something called smokeless ciggerettes. Not sure if that helps anything but ok.

Go to a psych doc and ask for some Welbutrin. It works wonders.

Parents took it for 5 days and they haven't had a single craving in 7 (8?) years since the single last cigarette(s as two people were quitting) they smoked.

thanks for making me smile. I needed that.

I just bought some and smoked one. that helped too. :)

I have heard about these smokeless cigs, I am intrigued by that, it seems like it could work.

I don't like wellbutrin but I was on it for depression while not smoking, I might be willing to try it again as zyban...

I am having a harder time quitting than I ever have before.

thanks, I do need to quit trying to do it on my own and get some support.

I am just feeling very 'aspie-ish' in an NT world today. :(

Well, I know how that one felt better. Trouble is, I've been trying to quit over a year now. I've been through boxes and boxes of patches.. all because I only want "just one." So, I'm trying to focus now on how one is never enough for me and never worth it. I'm also hoping the moodiness passes, but it's not worth smoking over.

There's a feeling I used to get when I tried to quit, that was quite pleasant, like being full of electricity. I once wondered if I could keep starting and stopping smoking just to get that. In the end, it's a lot easier to stay quit.
