Wasn't sure where to put this topic so I thought it'd be ok here. My sister asked if I heard of Pandora I said what the planet in Avatar? she said no. Me: Oh Pandora's box (part of mythology) her:no. Her: The app. Me: Oh ya that I've heard of it etc. (I then downloaded the app on my BB phone. LOL!

Don't feel too bad. I would have thought they were talking about Pandora's Box as well.

I have not heard of this application before, but I suspect that the association with the mythical Pandora is intentional. Though it isn't necessarily so.

Look on the bright side. At least you didn't blurt out in front of an open window, "Maybe a lady had a dog for a baby!"

LOL! I would of also thought that you would be talking about some Pandora box.

LOL Don't worry, it's an easy mistake to be made! I've had my share of incidents like that!

It's her fault for not immediately specifiying she was reffering to an application (I assume this is what "app." stands for) and it's entirely logical to think of "Pandora's Box", a very famous myth and concept, as opposed to some minor program for a relatively new piece of technology.

Well since i love avatar I would have asked that, then pandoras box, then the character Pandora from the adrian mole series..... then...well thenI'd be confused!
