Sure thing, I could sleep through noisy rain, wind, hail, and even a tornado alarm. Of course when the rain, wind, and hail are all pounding the roof at once, it's difficult to even make out the tornado alarm :? . But anyway, I find the sound of rain drops hitting the ground peaceful.

I grew up next to a roaring creek and deafening frogs, and then clanging, beeping garbage trucks outside my window when I moved to the city, so I can sleep through anything. XD

But CockneyRebel, I know what you mean! Snow is too exciting to sleep through. Also soup-thick fog and thunder storms. We don't get a lot of fancy weather here, so I stay up and watch when it happens.

I love going to sleep in the rain. I also sleep like a rock.

I can sleep through heavy rain or light rain, but I wake up fast if the thunder is so loud it shakes the house. :x

I love the rain and find it comforting while I'm falling asleep. Violent storms are a different story.

The steady rain helps me sleep and thunderstorms are sexy to me.

No. On the contrary, I love falling asleep to any kind of rain. I find the sound very relaxing.

I love the rain. It is a very beautiful and Natural sound. Also, as others have mentioned, it puts me into a very peaceful state of mind and actually lulls me to sleep.

If it's a low constant noise it becomes "white noise" for me and I can sleep. I like the sound of it.

The same here, plus the low atmospheric pressure makes me sleep even better.

It was raining heavily last night, and I was tossing and turning in bed, wondering why the blazing it had to make such a noise.
Light rain doesn't keep me up, as some have also said, it's calming in some way.
