Well I'm not good at many things and I want people to stop going on about my photography so I talk about the other things I'm into. It depends how much I know them though. Some friends I told about my story writing and others I just kept quiet about it.
I don't brag. I do it because it's the only thing I can talk about, that and random facts.

I like displaying my skills, rather than boasting about them. I am a problem solver, so I solve problems. When I do it right, I rarely care that I get credit or excessive recognition. It is more important that other understand my methods, rather than laying on complements.

I am by nature a "behind the scenes" person. I do not have to be center stage.

I don't because then people like to get me involved in things and I'd just rather keep to myself.

I don't talk to people much at all & I don't talk too much about my one & only talent, either.

Which are you?

If I'm good at something I don't mind saying so, or if I know a subject well, its sometimes difficult for me not to take over the conversation and lecture a bit. However, like you, I don't actually rate my skills as highly as the people around me usually do, because I also know my limitations. I feel like if I start bragging about something, I'm just asking for someone to throw me a challenge I can't meet and make me look the fool. I'm good, but I'm not that good.

Expert on several things, master of none.

Exactly the same here. Unless it's some relatively useless little skill or asset, like the fact that I can find my way around in very low light due to hypersensitive vision. That is minor and trivial enough that it doesn't seem like boasting, lol.

I consider myself a flaunter, not because I actually talk about it, but I just don't study for school, and other people see that, in my opinion, I'm flaunting because I don't hide not studying.

Just like posting this now, I'm basically telling people I'm smart, since I don't study for school (and pass obviously, else it'd just be a useless comment)

my skills do not need advertising.
my skills are the same whether anyone knows or not that i have them.
my skills are not augmented by anyone else's knowledge of them.
my skills are not given to me for me to give presents to others.

i remain silent and i am skilled in certain areas that are cloaked due to my lack of interest as to whether anyone else knows of them.

people's brains are just 3 pounds of meat and they are not necessary to be tuned to me in order for me to remain as i am.

I don't hold with bragging, and I tend to look down on people who brag. I used to do it just for a joke, but people tended to take me seriously and usually got annoyed with me about it, so I stopped. I could never understand why they didn't realise I was joking.

I'm happy enough to perform my music, or to send/play my recordings to people who seem interested, but I wouldn't dream of trying to tell them how good I think I am....they can listen if they want to, and it's up to them to judge how good it is. Being a perfectionist, I tend to be my own worst critic anyway, so if I were to discuss my musical prowess, I'd probably be pointing out my shortcomings rather than highlighting my strong points. Though I have occasionally claimed to be the loudest vocalist in town, with some justification.
