My 2 cents. I wasn't a picky eater, but I was an overeater. If I didn't like something, I wouldn't touch it, but that's normal.

No kid will starve to death. Your concern is nutrition. In a way, be thankful he's being picky....obesity is a problem he likely won't live with.

If he's not getting a well-balanced diet, look into colloidal minerals and a multi-vitamin he will take daily.. I used them after a car accident to help recover, and straight minerals is like 1 oz in a juice of your choice....pretty much flavorless. So long as he get his nutrition, he'll be fine.

Other than that, encourage him to at least try new things.
