I found only one group, with less than 400 members, in comparison to many Autism Speaks groups.

I tried to set up a page of my own, with a red X over their logo, but couldn't make for some reason. The title was supposed to be "Autistic and can speak for myself!"

Anyone volunteers to start a group/page and publish it here?

Have you tried creating a support group that is not exclusively for Autistic people but also for their supporters? You could try that and invite all your friends to join and tell them to invite some friends as well. I've never created a Facebook group though, but I assume that's how it works.

There's probably already some like that. This one has a similar name. I don't want to join a group because my friends don't know I have it yet.

I am that way at work.. all think I am emotionally distant. Oh the shock they would receive if they ever knew all the things about me they don't know *chuckling*.
