For the last couple of days I have no sound on Youtube :? It started when I installed Mozilla. The "sound" option on Youtube isn't disabled, I can also listen to music or sounds in general on other sites - the problem concerns just Youtube - but I don't know what causes it :? Any advice? :)

I use Mozzila Firefox and don't have this problem, but if you think it may be Mozzila, then uninstall Mozzila and test YouTube again.

I can't help... sorry I suck with computers... but the computers at my local library used to have the same problem. Have you searched something like 'Youtube sound problems' in google? Also do a virus check if you haven't already. That's all I can say.

I did have a virus recently (which I got from a site that, in theory at least, should have been safe :x - not some porn site for example, lol, but one about Growing Pains when I wanted to check who this late actor Andrew Koenig who played in it was) but now it is removed. I just checked IE because I thought it might be connected with Mozilla as this problem started when I installed it - but when I use IE, Youtube doesn't work either :x

If you go to a flash site, do you have sound?
google for flash games or similar, try playing a game and see if you have sound?

Maybe try going to adobe.com/flash and re-install flash

No sound. So it must be about Flash. Thanks for the advice :) , later I'll try to follow your advice.

if going to adobe and re-installing does not fix it, try going to start->control panel->add/remove programs and un-install anything flash. reboot.

then go to the adobe site and install flash player

reboot

do all your other normal 'windows' sounds work?
such as when you start your computer, or when you click on the speaker icon and change the volume?

Yes, then everything is perfectly OK.

I think YouTube currently has a bug in it, they recently changed the look of it and I have been experiencing problems with it too.

Not sure if we covered this, but did you try a different browser? Firefox vs. IE?
