"Trouble" by Ray LaMontaigne. I definitely would not replace it. I love that song.

Oh, I love that song too! I remember spending a whole evening pestering my roommate with my lamentations on its failure to capture a best song grammy.

It's never stuck in my head, though, and I'm jealous.

it was "love me with all your heart" for a few hours, then my brain switched back to "where or when." at least that wasn't as bad as last week's earworm, "surfin' bird."

There's a way, a way to squash all of your fears
When everyone around you seems to be a stranger
You feel their eyes upon you, you're hearing their thoughts
As they walk away, the voice grows louder
Illusions illuminate
Why let illusions dictate your next move?
You're bound by deception, and a misled direction

LAST years troubles
they shine up so prettily
they GLEAM with a LUSTRE they don't have today
here it's just dirty and violent and troubling
etcetera

Been singing it all morning.

World / Inferno's "Friend in Wien", for the last couple of days.

I'm not entirely sure what it's about, though. On the face of it, Nazi persecution, but it also sounds like it's a rebuke to someone, and I don't get it. :?

A lot of memories associated with that song.

Carismatico - Babasonicos

Tengo que aprender a fingir mas, y a no mostar lo que siento, tengo que aprender a fingir mas, y a pilotear lo que pienso.

Yeah, it's a little annoying, but it's alright as "songs getting stuck in your head" go, I've had a lot worse. Worse is when you have a song stuck in your head that you only know one line of the lyrics of, so the same line is going through your head followed by an audible "..." as you struggle to remember what comes next, only you can't so it just repeats in your head like a broken record.

"I Can See for Miles" - The Who

I don't actually want it in my head. I thoroughly listened through one album years ago, over and over, and can safely say that I think they're overrated, down to the last ill-metered lyric.

Plateau - Meat Puppets, except this one is covered by Nirvana in the 1993 Unplugged with the Meat Puppets.

I been wanting to sing it but people will think I'm crazy just saying;

"Holy ghosts and talk show hosts are planted in the sand
To beautify the foothills, and shake the many hands"

And it's a new night, and the song is now "Stand on Your Own Head" by They Might Be Giants.
