I generally dislike HDR, but your church scenes have beautiful lighting, like a painting.

Have you tried any street scenes - you could erase all the people, or make it extra-crowded, while creating the HDR masks.

I generally don't like people places i'm afraid , the towns here are not the nicest of places.. I do this type of photography because my mind is at peace at the time :)

I think I probably sensed that from the pictures in your gallery, and unconsciously suggested people places. Who knows, it might really work for you - your pictures and technique are excellent.

We have a big hill here, looking along the length of the main shopping street but far from it. I have often though of taking a sequence of exposures and masking them to show the street deserted of people and cars. I have done some slow exposures in the railway station and other public places, and I like the faded out people. I think I am attracted to imaging somewhere that I find intimidating.

Very Nice! I also am not usually much of an HDR fan, but it works really well in the churches.

That black and white winter tree is great. Is the vignetting an intentional effect (it looks good that way), and if so how are you doing it?

These are really nice. I like "Tower of Ruin" a lot, and the various churches. I've often wished I had the skill (and equipment, I guess) for proper photography when visiting places like that.

"A Frozen Morning" is great, too - it captures some of what I miss most about the English countryside.
