I'm an unabashed octopus.

When people get upset over the possibilities (and I mean upset. They shout and argue with each other), I'm usually the one to say "Eh, we'll see." and wonder what all the fuss is about.

I vote pessimist only because I'm a realist, and realistically, life can be really depressing.

At least, that's how people see me.

I voted option 3, thats the easy way out.

A pessimist only sees that long dark tunnel.

And optimist sees the light at the end of the tunnel.

A realist sees the tunnel, the light and realises that after this tunnel comes another one.

Optimists are more open to new ideas and manipulation, look at other things than facts more than facts, sometimes you need to look both ways before you cross a road.
Pessimists are stubborn to new things and pay more attention to facts than feelings, less tolerant of telemarketers etc.

I used to tell people "I only look one way when crossing a road, I feel it adds some spice to my otherwise dull, and boring life.", of course I was kidding, saying it strictly to amuse myself.

I have been a pessimist but I am realizing there is no way I am going to be able to go forward now that I know what is wrong with me without shifting into optimism. There is no way I can keep this same frame of mind, at all. I have been thinking about this alot lately. Before when I didn't know my whole life was wrong. Now that I know I have to find a way to separate this out into categories it affects and categories it doesn't affect. So I don't have to be down about every single thing.
