I admit to being confused. I used the calculator you posted early on, Valoyossa, and got 34DD (if I subtracted a bit as you stated in another post, I get 32G for US size). I then randomly selected a dozen online calculators. 5 of them said 34DD, 5 said 38AA, and 2 said 38B or 36B. Discounting the last two, why is there such a big difference? AA and DD strike me as pretty darn far apart.

For the record, I currently wear a 36B and find it to be quite comfortable, though the straps have a tendency to fall down my arms.

I know only one calculator that can give you proper size. It's this one: http://www.atlastravel.nazwa.pl/mini/
Why is there such a big difference? Because most companies make calculators only to sell their products in poor quality and poor size availability. They also often don't know how to fit a bra and give photos of girls with part of boobs in cups and the rest bulging everywhere.
I can't stop rotfl when I see calculator and girl with bulges next to it. Or when they tell me incorrect! when I type my measurements

Ok, so what to do: measure yourself and write here your result. I'll tell you which size to try. I'm pretty sure it will be far away from 38AA, 36B etc.

Bfcidade, I supposed you're here because of blog stats. It was almost impossible you're here because of AS and your special interest in bras (like me). OMG, LB is everywhere (that's great)!

Thanks bcfidade for advice, I'll try a 30/28 one...Might cut into the disgusting flabby muscles in my back though, lol...Even a 32 doesn't press too tightly on me, but it does make a visible line in my back and looks vile. Can't get rid of that softness. Hyperextensions with a 10kg weight behind my head is not working.. Maybe I'll use a heavier one :(

That's the calculator I used; you posted it earlier on this thread, and I went through the links.

I just don't understand the AA part. Regardless of anything else, I simply could not got into such a small cup. It just won't work.

My measurments are 32" and 38".

Mechanicalgirl39, if you have back like a earthworm, it's because of band riding up. With tight band you have smooth back, even if you're overweight :)

RainSong, your size is 34DD or 34E. Try both and remember about taking every bulge into the cups. Look at this picture - everything is inside. It doesn't matter if your bra is plunge or full-cup.

Thanks for telling me. Is she a 34DD/34E? She looks bigger than I am.

I don't see how thinking a D is big is a misconception. It can be big or average depending on the size of the person. "small" to me is A.

Of course if the person is extremely overweight then a D will seem small. Most of the non fat people here wear what seems like A's, B's and C's (Which still get classed as large by many people here)

If a non fat person wears anything bigger than a D in this country they are classed as enormous.

Seriously? Wouldn't a tight band just dig into my disgusting soft back muscles?

If your cups won't be too small, your back will be smooth. My Mum is overweight, wears 34K and her back is smooth.

Halle_bopp, you still believe in stupid myths!

Big D looks:

And she wears this enormous double J and she's still alive, moves normally and doesn't think about any reduction:

No those look about right. I am a 14-D, so that would be 36-D to americans. Mine are bigger than those but still classed as "large"

30 is not "Big" if you ask me. I am a 36 and I am not a big person. Do you have any pictures of 36 D's? Of course it's going to look smaller if its someone tiny enough to wear a size 28 bra. The cups will be tiny compared to the ones on a 36.

By the way I don't think the girl with the DDs has tiny breasts at all. Tiny is flat. Hers would be what I call well above medium/big for her size. People where you live must be walking out with enormous breasts if you think breasts bigger than those are "small"

A lot of those D's you've posted look pretty big to me.

The above picture, I would call those absolutely enormous. This is what I have been trying to say, in my opinion and most others in this country, many of those Ds and DDs in that photo are large.

Then you keep telling me they aren't.

All these women are normal. We're not all the same - some are short, some tall, some have small boobs, some large. Every size deserves the proper fit and right bra size. Diversity is beautiful and every size is beautiful too.

Enormous is thinking of some people. They often hate themselves, but make complexes in others. Surgeons are just waiting for it.

Woman in blue bra (it's Harmony from Panache) looks great. Her boobs are lifted and all the weight lies on the tight band of bra. Shoulders don't hurt any more.
