I had a so-called professional psychic kick me off her message board because I predicted that the US was one day going to have another civil war. She told me I was scaring people and being a troll. And this was years ago.

Well look at my country today. Look at the culture wars, the gun violence, the riots, the attack on our nation's capitol on January 6th.

I hate to say it but it sucks being right sometimes.

I feel like Cassandra trying to warn about the Trojan war at times...

nighty nighty :) and when you wake up you might consider a copy of "astrology for dummies" [NOT calling you a dummie, just the name of the book is all] which is a good basic primer on astrology. it will tell you what other books you need to read also. but it is a good start.

i dreamt i was in some kind of dormitory with military aspects [inactive reservists before activation, in "casual status"]. there was an amazon woman [tall brunette who resembled Wonder Woman] who was quite the social butterfly in the dorm, she sorta looked down her nose at me literally [she was taller than me].

I had a dream that our Polish literature teacher we had in the eigth grade of elementary school, was teaching us how to cure by using esoteric ways. We had to practise on plush teddy bears she distributed among us. I was doing this with, as it turned out, my own plush teddy bear I got as a ten year old girl - it appears in my dreams quite often, I don't know why it is so - and its head is breaking off. It was like this in my dream this night too - and we were told we can cure our plush toys we got by performing a series of compressions and touches all over various parts of their plush bodies. I was convinced it's impossible to attach the head of this teddy bear back but I did what i was told and voila! - I realized out of a sudden that its head was already all right. I was very glad.

I dreamt that I was in a movie theater watching a martial arts movie with the original version of my father who may have developed his fondness for the martial arts likely when he was stationed in South Korea.

He was so happy watching whatever we were actually watching and when the movie finished, the "present-day version" of himself (thinning gray hair, glasses, and less weight on him alongside gym attire) ran into the auditorium and shouted, "Come on bro, we need to get the COVID rules reinstated at the gym!"

The original version looked at me and said, "Sorry son, me and the other me have to make sure those who refused to get a vaccine stay out of the gym."

I wonder what Sigmund Freud would make out of that?

I don't know what Freud would think, but think you should have tried writing sci-fi.

1)
I was in a shopping mall or something, and suddenly there was a giant flood. I took refuge in a shop that sold trinkets and hair elastics for adolescent girls. I was the only customer. The shop owner was a middle aged woman who was on a landline telephone call with someone from her family. She kind of waved hello but otherwise ignored me. I discovered that the carpeted floor was covered in the backs from pierced earrings, which someone must have pulled off the displays. They were everywhere! I started crawling on my hands and knees to collect the earring-backs for this woman. I picked them up with my right hand and put them in my left hand, which made crawling around quite difficult.

When I had collected all of them, the lady finally hung up from her phone chat. For some reason she told me that a lot of her customers were autistic pre-teens. She was just making conversation but it was an odd thing for her to say.

I told her that I was an autistic woman. She thought that was pretty cool because she had never met one before.

Then I showed her all the earring-backs, and she was amazed that I would have noticed such tiny things on her grey carpet.

I reminded her, "I'm autistic! That's why I notice such small details everywhere! Autistic people notice details!"

I noticed I was only wearing my pyjamas, which were rather torn and dishevelled, and that I had bare feet --- so I added "That's also why I'm wearing my pyjamas! I have a lot of sensory sensitivities and these are super comfy! I hate shoes too!"

2)
I was in my mother's house. No matter which room I went into there were about 20-30 adults sitting around socialising in fancy clothes. It was kind of like a baby shower, except there were lots of men and not just women. I was rushing about trying to find a room that wasn't overflowing with people / strangers but even the bathroom and my bedroom had guests milling about.

I was exasperated. I ran to my mother's solarium and found her watering some plants. In real life I'm mute with her but in the dream I started screaming that I wanted her to get all those people out of the house. I was screaming a lot of F words and totally freaking out on her.

I remember yelling "I'm autistic and I'm having a meltdown! This is a meltdown! Deal with it!"

My dreams seem to have been on a theme. :P

^^^so have mine.
i dreamt i was in a large building that resembled a cross between a hospital and shopping mall, there were music combos here and there performing on raised stages, people with 70s hair/clothing milling about. the interior was all in some shade of red, floors/walls/ceiling. i noticed there was an abundance of restrooms every few yards, but they were all jammed full of people. another man [dressed in white tennis outfit and heavy sweater] and me commiserated about this sorry state of affairs while a couple seated at a table a few feet away regarded us with distaste.
