You basically seem like a far-right conservative to me. If your "liberal" view on minorities means that you favour affirmative action, that's somewhat incongruous, but otherwise you seem to be in the direction I imagine the far-right in the U.S. is heading based on the young conservatives and "libertarians" I've spoken to.

I believe in praxis, theory meets action which redefines theory.

The things that interest me are anarcho-syndicalism, primitivism and Stalinism. I think an anarcho-syndicalism is nice, but maybe impracticable. After all, Stalinists took over China, Russia and Eastern Europe, and anarcho-syndicalists took over half of Spain for a few years (and some of the biggest anarchists...joined the government). Primitivism is something I think to reflect on, and maybe counter some Marxist ideas about positivism.

Non-marxist communist here. I must say I'm surprised by the lack of far leftists on these forums, although I suppose it makes sense given the right wing's association with order and rigidity, and the notoriously poor reputation of state socialist countries such as the USSR and China.

I don't think the Labor Theory of Value is completely correct - obviously, people have their own subjective notions of value, but if we left it at that, then it would suggest that nobody could ever get ripped off or scammed, which is obviously not the case. The value of something seems to depend on both the cost or labor required to supply it, and the demand for it, which suggests a combination of the two theories.

Either way, it suggests to me that workers, indeed, are being scammed by the capitalists they work for.

This thread is nine years old. The guy above your post (an arch conservative who often dominated dialogue on the PPR back then- and maybe giving you a slanted view of the views of WP members) stopped posting years ago, and has probably passed away. Just so you know.

My bad, I didn't realize how old this thread was, although I still see a lot of conservatism on these forums. Perhaps I could make a new poll so that it would be up to date?
