Would (or do) you guys ever wear a shirt of your special interest, like a band shirt, sports jersey, or one of a TV show, movie, or video game?

I wouldn't be afraid to wear a "Thief and the Cobbler" shirt in when I'm out and about:

I wear shirts from musicals. I don't have any right now (except one from Riverdance that's too small), but I like wearing shirts that have the logos from musical theatre shows on them.

Most of my t-shirts have some kind of design on them, be it from a musical in high school I was involved with, my stage crew shirt, a band tee or a jersey (all hail the Boston Red Sox :D ).

I'd wear a Stargate shirt or musician apparel if I had any. Some of A23's stuff looks awesome.

Yes, I had a Star Wars shirt but it got ruined from tearing at the seams. I wear a Star Wars watch with Princess Leia on it.

Have to say -

I would wear such if and ONLY if

A.I had a serious connection with the subject afvertised by the garment

B. I wear it in a place where nobody else would consider wearing such a thing.

Never if I might run into a fan!

I have a couple t-shirts with snakes on them. One with "pythons of the world" and another with a boa constrictor. I also have some 80s goth band t-shirts, which used to be a special interest.

I sort of wish that more people shared my enthusiasm. The reality is that it's always been a Beatles Fan's world, since 1964, that hasn't changed, and that will never changed. I'm hard pressed to find other Kinklings in Langley.

I've worn my share of rock band merchandise and "designer labels" back in the day. I now wear blank shirts and avoid anything with logos as much as possible. Really, they should be paying me for promoting them. It makes me feel like those guys that get paid $25 a day to stand on the corner wearing a sandwich board advertising something about a mattress warehouse or a tax accountant service. My torso's fine as it is and is under no pressure to make statement about anything.

I wonder what archeologists of the future will think about our graphic tees? Will they think the images are of the family crest or coat of arms of the wearer? That the symbols within contain hints as to that wearer's station, occupation? Will they piece together a narrative involving the racial and economic schism between the RocaWear and Abercrombie tribes?
