Thank goodness I'm not but a 90's-00's kid.

You have a gift though, Alex. Loved it.

What happened at Willowbrook? The lady said "I think we all know what happened at Willowbrook." I searched for it and there was a website describing how people were badly treated at an institution. Can anyone elaborate on what Willowbrook is all about? Thanks.

according to wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willowbrook_State_School

Here's another source:

http://hstraining.orda.ucsb.edu/willowbrook.htm

Quote:
The subjects, all children, were deliberately infected with the hepatitis virus; early subjects were fed extracts of stools from infected individuals and later subjects received injections of more purified virus preparations.

Investigators defended the deliberate injection of these children by pointing out that the vast majority of them acquired the infection anyway while at Willowbrook, and perhaps it would be better for them to be infected under carefully controlled research conditions.

Wow, thats ridiculous. Thats like saying that if a few people on a plane had SARS then they might as well inject SARS to all the passengers.

Wow. What. Is. Going. On.
I've looked up Allison Singer and she is associated with Autism Speaks.

It's definitely her in that Autism Speaks video. And she mentions NOTHING about her daughter in this video!
