how does AS qualify as "special educational needs"
I don't really consider it a learning disability. The reason I was in special ed until 4th grade were because of my behavioral issues, I was a hellraiser. I only had academic trouble with math but that isn't due due to AS or ADHD, I'm just not good at math. I was like 8 grade levels above where I should have been everywhere else.
I guess it's still considered one though, which is weird because you wouldn't label an NT who has difficulty in one area as being learning disabled.
