I used to associate with someone who regularly went away for weekends (or all week) meditation 'retreats'......to relax and 'de-stress'
I remember meeting him for lunch just after he had returned from one such 'retreat'!
An item on the 'Specials Board' was no longer available and he kicked off as though his house had just been demolished by a runaway cement truck.
He shows clear signs of AS but he is also prone to compulsive-socializing (mostly for business) although he does complain endlessly at the 'boring' people that he meets socially (including those that attend his own parties at his house 
)
I think he would make a wonderful science project;
