Any aspies obsessed with travel?

I find it odd that so many enjoy travel.

I prefer routine and enjoy being at home.
I don't care for being in a climate or environment I can't control - airport, plane, hotel, food etc
I don't care for people, crowds and sight seeing.

** I do go to hotels and stay in hotels sometimes just to take a break.
I don't go anywhere in town and I wouldn't consider it travel.
I usually check into a hotel & then do my organizing rituals:

Remove all tags from sheets, mattresses, pillow cases, towels & wash cloths.
Put away all the promotional stuff: Displays w menus, room services, TV guides, check out & phone instructions etc.

I get the room as clean and simple as possible, draw the shades and turn the A/C on low cool and just lay in the bed for a few days.
I usually place wet cool wash cloths on my forehead, face and arms.
