I have the same problem as others saying "can't choose just one." BUT... another thread just reminded of a movie that I like a lot: The Tailor of Panama.

I'd have to kind of cheat the "one movie" rule and say Lord of the Rings, but I consider it to be one long movie rather than three separate movies.

It used to be "Its a Wonderful Life" but now that I have seen it so many times, I would say it would be "Star Wars, a New Hope" (The first to appear in the theaters.) The next two in the series were also great, but the first had the advantage of being startlingly original, while paying homage to certain older movies.

Alice in Wonderland (2010). No contest.

I did not like that movie, Alice was so weird looking it distracted me from the movie.

"Fortune tellers? How droll. Stop the coach!"

"Double the taxes. TRIPLE the taxes. SQUEEZE every last DROP out of those insolent, ah, 'musical' peasants."

"Taxes, taxes, beautiful lovely taxes!"

"I sentence you to sudden, instant and even IMMEDIATE DEATH!"

"Seize the fat one!"

"Forgive me a cruel chuckle..."
