He is an NT but is understanding of the fact I have AS. In fact he doesn't view it as a problem at all. He says it's part of me and it is everything about me that he adores so I'm happy :D

Why does it have to be long-term or engaged? What about short and medium term relationships?

I'll take note of that for my future use. :D

Oh, and congratulations to you by the way! We did talk once through a PM but understandably the distance is just too far. I have enough trouble with Toronto, let alone England. :P

Single, but mostly because I don't have the money required to pay for a date, I don't have a car (but that's a different issue), and I'm not prepared to handle the responsibility of a long-term relationship.

You don't need much money at all for a nice date. Even just having someone over for a drink is nice. It's not about what you do, or how much money you spend - it's being together.

I'm single.

Not sure whether to look for anyone else - I seem good at spoiling the lives of really nice girls by being moody, complicated, depressed, insular and generally an Aspie :(

Too many problems of my own which need to be addressed first, somehow... if I can.

BUT I know two girls who are adorable. One isn't interested, one might be. And if I don't say something soon, it might be too late.

Tricky, huh?

I have had two girlfriends, both of whom were NTs. I've been single for a few months now, but I'm thinking of going out again. I have my eye on a few girls who I might ask out to the back-to-school dance in a couple of weeks.

Engaged and happy. I've never, ever met anybody who understood how life is like she does. She knows the inside of my head better than I do, and loves me for it as much as I love her for everything she is. Life's a bit up and down right now, but she's my rock.

Single and looking here. I have had a few people interested in me, but not sure if I really want to date any of them. I tend to be a little picky about who I date--because I don't want to be in a realtionship in which I would be miserable. I want someone who I can see myself spending the rest of my life with.

Tim

The novelty of being single and having my own space has suddenly worn off, and now I'm feeling very lonely and a bit depressed.

I try to do my best in life, but sometimes it seems like no-one ever notices :(

I have a guy, and so much love for him, though he is far away.

I don't know what to call my relationship...

Very passionate, very strong, but every time she spends 1 day away from me, she abuses the s**t out of me, vanishes for 3-4 days, then comes back acting all nice... I'm trying to forget about her, but she's the only person I can actually get along with (I don't know why) I don't have a clue what to do..

Sorry for whining I'm sure there are much bigger problems going on.

Sounds pretty serious to me! What happens if you mention this at a time when she is calm?
