Lol, but one had to be made. I hate Britain, North Ireland and Wales, but the entirety of Scotland and the city of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne are ok with me.(JK I don't really hate those places, well except for North Ireland)

I didn't know what to expect, at first, but I do agree that they suck at football.

You get ten idiot points for thinking there's a British football team.

Why do you hate n. Ireland? Is it because my relatives kicked your arses? I'm proud to have had family in the IRA.

By a twist of irony, there will be a British team for the 2012 Olympics (as hosts they're entitled to field a team) and it probably will consist of English players only, as the English FA were told where to shove it when they asked about forming a proper British side. But given that that's the prevailing climate I doubt there'll be any continuation to that team.

Assuming you mean the Provos, you should seriously reconsider that. There's not so much to be proud of. :?

I'm irish, I live in Ireland. My mother was protestant, my father Catholic. His mother was heavily involved with the conflict to the point that she got a six gun salute when she died. I drink wine from Roger Casement's decanter (for real, she looted his house when he died, fiesty old bat).

It tore my family apart and left me a committed atheist by the age of 12.

In my experience those (almost always americans) who are 'proud' to have paramilitaries in the family, have little to no personal experience of a deeply tragic situation.

And, to the original poster...YES, BRITAIN SUCKS AT FOOTBALL! HA!

Ireland feels badly for you England. I promise.

'Britain' is often used as shorthand for the entire United Kingdom, so you're saying you hate the UK and then saying that you don't mind parts of it.

Have you been to Northern Ireland? Parts of it are beautiful and parts of it are complete dumps. Just like in the rest of the UK.
