1.The fire alarm had to been done then, couldn't be shifted a few minutes either way.
2.Like a lot of aspies, has empathy of sorts for inantimate objects. The eposide where he gave his car a good trashing with a branch springs to mind. ((Weak pun intended.))
3.Tries so hard but keeps saying the wrong thing and ends up putting his foot in it. German eposide.

Gets fustrated when routine is interrupted.

Well, that's comforting. I don't think Basil is an Aspie, I think he's just a b*****d.

I love Fawlty Towers!

Was amazed when I heard there were only 12 episodes.

I used to LOVE faulty Towers all through my childhood. It was like the only decent thing for a kid to rent at the video store in my town.

If anyone out there is still watching this.

What do you think about the treatment of Manwell? Is it worth thinking about or not??

I used to watch Fawlty Towers when I was a kid and I loved it. One of the funniest series ever.

Ok...I've watched a few episodes now and I don't think that i've ever laughed so hard in my entire life. :lol: :lol:

I'd have to say that my favourite episode so far is the one with the psychiatrist on it. At the end when basil got into fetal position and jumped up and down as the psych walked past....hallerious! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Not only are me and my family fans of that series, there are two example I can site where it has become LEXICONS in my household!

1.] Whenever my brother or I are being pressured to do a certain chore which we were meaning to do, we sometimes say "I'm doing it! I'm doing it now!!" {The Germans}

and 2.] Whenever Mom or my brother find something that we put our hearts into finding, like a lost piece of mail, they hold it up and proclaim "HERE it is!", with the occasional "I found it Mrs. Fawlty, the money!" {Communication Problems}

Ah, good times :P
