One actress alone does not make a movie. I imagine the producers, directors etc asked her to act the way she did and were happy with her acting.

Which is beyond me because it spoiled the movies for me. If you profess to be an actor/actress, then you should be able to become a character for the sake of art.

Perhaps it truly was the character who was so bland and so unhappy...meh, Bella depressed me...but I still want to watch the next movie 'cause the wolf boys are so gorgeous. 8)

PS: I haven't seen her off screen yet. I will definitely buffer & watch Leiservampir's u-tube video of her interview on Jimmy Kimmel... when I have more time.

Can't speak for Ms. Stewart, but Bella Swan isn't an aspie - she's an idiot. There's a difference.

And her boyfriend isn't a vampire. Come on, he doesn't drink human blood, doesn't kill animals when he feeds, virtually flies up trees, and sparkles in the sun! It's quite plain that he's not a vampire - he's a fairy.

But she doesn't realize this, because she's an idiot.

I am encouraged to see that you recognise that there is a difference between being an Aspie and being an idiot...especially as Aspies GENERALLY have above average intelligence (which would usually preclude idiocy)

Could you enlighten us with the definition of 'idiot' that you are using and how the character in the movie meets that definition, in your opinion :?:
