I just found out about my AS this month, after many years of wondering whether I had chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, anxiety, chronic rudeness, pathological laziness, complete bastarditis, etc. Well, now I know. I just wish there were some sort of a cure. (Then again, if being "cured" meant that I wouldn't be me anymore, I'm not sure what I'd do about it...)

My obsessions, er, my hobbies include bicycling on narrow and dangerous streets, compulsively making Japanese vocabulary study sheets, and watching movies and being irritatingly critical afterwards. I like the music of Gary Numan, David Bowie, David Byrne, Scott Walker, Skinny Puppy, and Faith No More.

I don't have many friends, so don't hesitate to say hi!

I used to live in San diego man, I never really liked L.A that much, but welcome to wrongplanet!

Hi there,

I just joined tonite, and saw your thread. I'm from LA too. Not the city exactly, but I'll say LA county. Like you, I don't have many friends either. I know a lot of people, but I don't consider them close. I don't form close friendships, except for a few.

Anyways, it's good to have you here, and nice to see everyone else on here.
