Do we even know whether that website came before or after this WrongPlanet was founded? If it came after, then it must be one of those spoof websites. As long as they got permission from the founders of this WrongPlanet then there's nothing wrong with their website. Vice versa if that website came before this one.

Weird but legal as far as we can tell anyway. It might be a front for something scandalous... Or just weird.

Yeah, that's what I think. The concept of being on a wrong planet is hardly unique, and the natural step in designing a logo for a wrong planet includes putting in a planet.

Neither site has filed for a trademark, so no law is being broken. If, however, either Alex or whoever runs the other site were to register the name in the US, the site who didn't own the trademark would be in potential legal trouble, regardless of who used the name first.
