Crosswords. Word searches are painfully dull.

I prefer where's wally and colouring books, crosswords make you look at the individual stars rather than glancing across the whole sky so probably them.

I kinda like both, although crosswords can often be too hard. That's not to say that I can always find the words in word searches either though. I like WordFit too, and Hangman.
None of them are my favorite things to do, but they're okay to relax with. I avoid anything that is timed though. I take my time with things.

I like cryptic crosswords but don't always manage to finish them. It all depends. Often the answers start falling into place once one's started on it with the ones you see straight off. I also like the ones where you have to convert numbers to letters of the alphabet.

Other word games I enjoy are Scrabble, which I regularly play online, and doing funny anagrams, such as archaeologist (I GO SEARCH A LOT) or headmistress (AH, I'M STRESSED).

I liked word searches when I was a child. These days, I don't have much time for either, but do like to bring a stack of crosswords along if I'm travelling, waiting in a doctor's office, or some other situation where I'm likely to have time. I don't often finish the crosswords - many have a few clues that refer to pop culture I'm simply not familiar with - but seeing how far I can fill out a crossword is usually preferable to reading the meager selections of newspapers and magazines in many offices or at the houses of relatives who don't read much.

I find them both frustrating due to my dyslexia.

I think I prefer the Word searches, I have one on my mobile which is okay but I also enjoy Kriss Kross and Missing Link puzzles.

Crossword puzzles for me. Word Searches are a bit boring. Sometimes, finding the last words on a list can be like finding a needle in a haystack. It can get annoying.

I like anything with words: crosswords, Word Jumbles and Cryptograms are my favorites.

I'd like to see a cat-themed crossword.

If you search for "crossword cats" and "word search cats" in Books on American amazon, you will get some hits if you are interested.

Crosswords. Cryptic, of course.

Ditto. I've always found word searches a little too easy. It's nice to have something that draws on references and weird areas of knowledge as well as language.
