I dont understand why they are bad, they are just words. I've always wondered this but the only answer people give me is "they are just bad" er...

I suppose its because people generally think its rude to swear and/or complain in some situations. I think the words generally express that you are unsatisfied or tired of something in some way, or if something has gone wrong - and perhaps sometimes one ought to express oneself more clearly instead of just using those words.
That being said, I use them all the time. Its a bad habit for me, but I only really meet resistance if I curse around my grandparrents.
