I was astonished too when I read the news yesterday.

Who could believe that things like that still go on in our western countries?

There must be something mentally wrong with those women.

This may sound callous, but why else would they have confessed? (it's v hard to prove a neonatal death is not a stillbrith) That said, if there was knife wounds, or something, that would be a big give away.

Of course, concealment of a death or birth is a crime too. 15 years though... bit harsh in my opinion, unless it's at a hospital.

caveat; no, I don't support baby killing

On the news tonight, I heard that very often those babies die naturally, if I may say so, from a traumatic birth, the woman being all alone and as silent as possible to deliver.

The denial of a pregnancy is not well known here nor accepted except from a few doctors, a few gynecologists.

What a ghastly case of murder, I saw it on the news today, Did the husband ever know that he even ever had children?
