I stole the idea for this thread from a thread I saw recently on another board. You can include your favorite living authors who don't publish much or just as much as you would like them to, as well as those who are currently deceased. Personally, I would love to read more stories by Lovecraft and some more vampire stories by Anne Rice.

I just googled him - he resembled our poet Norwid http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwid in the fact that he wasn't appreciated when still alive. (Now we are tortured with Norwid at our schools; I don't like his poems

Confederacy of Dunces is set in New Orleans and is about a character described as Caliban meets Rabelais. Very few things make me laugh out loud, but this book did.

Haha No, I do no recreational drugs (anymore) and I haven't for many years. I mean veg as in couch potato.
