S&M, because it's the only one that really captures the essense of their music. Hard rock usually sounds more impressive when performed live. Could be the result of too much editing (meant for crappy, boomy home stereo systems?), or just the way studio albums are.

I think the Black Album had a few good songs and a lot of mediocre ones. I hate the albums they've released after that one. Death Magnetic at least has some good riffs, but the Yosemite Sam on PCP vocal approach still really throws me off. I wish James would "STAWP DOIN' THAAAAAYAAAAAAYAAAAAAT-AHHH"!
