Does anyone believe in the possiblity of alien inteligent life?

I sure do, I don't believe that we can be the only inteligent life form out in the entire universe, which consists of thousands of galaxies etc.

What's everyone elses opinion on this?

Yes. I think that with how vast the universe is it's most likely that there is other life existing somewhere.. Possibly even "life" that we wouldn't even recognize as life right away because of how different it is... Like, maybe it isn't carbon-based, doesn't have DNA, and functions completely differently than any life we know of on earth.

But do i believe in... uhh.. Area 51, government coverup conspiracies, blahblahblah....? NO.

I believe that there is life on different planets, in different galaxies.

Of course! My mom is an alien, and she is applying for citizenship soon.

My mother is Irish, but I don't think that is a race.

I believe there is definitely life elsewhere in the universe, but I don't believe there is intelligent life equivalent to humans.

Being Irish is a nationality.

The more you know...

The birds and the bees exist - how they get it on is beyond me. (Time to talk about the birds and the bees - what?)

The fact there are different species of animals on our own planet should be proof enough. Except that the animals we have here seem to create an equilibrium to which humans can not.

So - god made aliens in it's own image? That goes even further toward my "God is not human, so therefore not fe/male" philosophy

God not being human has nothing to do with the fact that we are. Anyway, lets not bring religion into discussion here.

I was going to make a joke about aliens from foreign countries; however, I have seen this done entirely too much on various topics on other forums when aliens are mentioned, and it really is not that funny. Therefore, I shall refrain from making a corny joke and will instead answer seriously.

I choose to believe that some form of intelligent life, other than myself, must exist somewhere in this vast universe as I could not have been born of nothingness. Seeing as it does not exist on this planet, it must be somewhere else.

Who's to say that many alien races don't look exactly like humans? Or at least share similar traits.

They've most likely evolved in a completely different environment.
