I'm not talking about racecar sports. I realize that I just like ordinary driving for fun. I would get bored and be like "I feel like driving". Too bad I often don't have much places to go. I prefer freeway driving since it is more smooth. No need to stop and go frequently.

Its interesting how people HATE driving. People would like a job right next to their house. For me, I live in the suburbs of Toronto and my dream would be to find work in Toronto in a place where there are parking lots so that I can drive there and back everyday.

I do sometimes. Low traffic rural roads are best for passing the time and seeing some beautiful scenery.

I detest driving in traffic in cities though. Far too much stop and go for me and hardly relaxing.

there are far too many passive/aggressive slowpokin' types clogging up the roads for me to derive any enjoyment from driving. OTOH, if i were the only one on the road, driving would be a blast.

I used to do this all the time, but money is tight and gas is over 3 bucks a gallon.

I like it.. Always have. I hate rush hour traffic jams, since everybody gets rude. I just drove about 1000 miles since Thursday, including a kind of boring trip fro Reno, NV to Las Vegas via Route 95. But I love the freedom of it, and God willing, give me another 60 years
