Have you heard it? On BBC they announced the develoment of computer prrogram to run scans that will scan the brain and in 15 minutes they can now detect who is autistic or on the spectrum. A breakthrough!

The 15 minute autism test does look cool, but as always with these things, I'm not too happy about them knowing so much about what parts of the brain indicate autism. It's just one step closer to a cure.

Yes, it's a great breakthrough, but I hope this doesn't eventually lead to some prenatal test that accurately predicts autism either, because I fear under pressure from family and doctors those babies will get aborted.
