My doctors appointment went really well. Clean bill of health for me.

Despite dealing with some low self-confidence (really, self-loathing), I have found that I'm doing really well at the moment at taking care of small tasks that usually put me off. For instance, I just finished today a pair of fingerless mitts that I knit...they are fairly simple projects but require some picking up at certain points that creates more yarn ends to sew in, which I hate. Usually my avoidance of this makes it so I don't complete projects in a timely manner, but I pushed through each step of the process very well this time! Similarly, yesterday I got a lot done on a pair of overalls I'm trying to sew, which I had put off for a long time for the same reason. So, happy about that

^ Neat that you knit. I used to spin and knit. Good thing to know how to do when you live where there are cold winters.

I am happy because of the lucid yellow orchids blooming and I saw one of the goldfish in my attempt at a water garden. There are supposed to be seven or so, but it is so dark I can't see them. As long as there are no mosquito larvae in pond, I assume the fish are still there and doing well.

The cows are back in the field, they're hanging around near the house, perfectly quiet, lying down next to a fallen dead Ash tree. There's a hint of mist in the valley, it's a perfect scene and there are apples in the garden so I can give them a treat.

Birthday party today/tonight(October is a big birthday month in my family) with my bubble of 6 ... lots of guitar playing, singing and cooking. So good to have everyone home again.
