A monarch was in our yard, sipping nectar from milkweed flowers and spreading her wings to catch the sun. The flower was in the shelter of the house, so she spent quite some time there. We get soldiers and queens, but rarely a monarch. Yesterday, an otter was fishing in the pond and at dusk a green heron flew in and muttered to himself until finally settling down for the night.

I got a job!! Now i can finally get rid of obsessing over depressing stuff and start obsessing over my job!

Thank you :heart: Hopefully having a job will be good for my mental health which is the primary reason i want one.

Being employed is certainly good for MY mental health....

Even prolonged idleness at my jobs gets me to thinking depressing thoughts.

I found out a horrible, awful person died not too long ago. Nice.

Dog V4 was given an empty biscuit box. Half an hour of him comedically running around as we try to get it back.

I'm back in black!!

I FINALLY replaced my very expensive black glasses that I lost in April. :heart:

They're so freaking amazing I could scream!!
