I found out that my childhood friend's dad came out of his coma. He had a stroke a few weeks ago. They were planning on taking him off of life support (and had called the family in to say goodbye), and he suddenly woke up. He is mostly unresponsive, but we are hoping his stubbornness will help in his recovery.

I'm really relieved. He was one of the only father figures I had growing up. I lived in an abusive household, and he and my friend would often take me in so I didn't have to endure the abuse.

That is wonderful that he came out of a coma! :heart:

Pancakes with brown sugar, cinnamon and egg in the batter taste like plain donuts, one of my favorites.

I woke up early-ish feeling well-rested and got my learning/research done and some daydreaming, and it's now only 10:30-ish, so I should be able to get something done today. LOL

I found out that the people putting a cash offer on our land/home are really cool sustainable farmers and fellow nature lovers. I no longer feel like I will be leaving my sanctuary to people who will destroy it.

My mom, my NT sister, and I are glad that the Pacific NW will finally receive some rain.

It will begin raining either this Friday or Saturday. :)
