Removing the god-forsaken heart monitor after 14 days.
I get permanent skin damage from the tape, every time I've had to wear one.

I use what they call baby tape, but it's less sticky and moves / chaffs more, so it defeats the purpose.

I hope I never have to do it again. In the past I had some of the skin damage removed or fixed by a dermatologist but it came back after a few months. It just doesn't heal. I must have ultra-sensitive, autistic skin.

I'm lathered in Vaseline right now to help. Tomorrow will be prescription healing cream.

The derm isn't even open for non-emergency services. My mother has skin cancer and has been waiting over a month because even cancer surgery isn't considered essential.

i'm sorry that is the case for you. :( unless one has cadillac insurance here, cancer mostly isn't considered "essential" here also, unless it is advanced. i'm thankful that retinal issues are considered essential or i might be blind by now.

I'm glad you have your eye care, too. My mother has the same condition and is able to see the Ophthalmologist for her eye needles, but she can't have malignant skin cancer removed, or have her shoulder replacement surgeries which were scheduled for this month. In the meantime she's basically paraplegic because she can't move her arms, she's going blind, and she has cancer. Fun and games for all. :(

I'm not related to Charles Garfunkel and I don't know if he's even related to Art, but it made me happy regardless.

Thanks for the tune, menace! That totally hit the spot and set me back on autopilot.
