Hurrah! I have a job interview at The Apple Store tomorrow at 10 AM! I applied on a whim, and got a call this afternoon! Hurrah! Hopefully owning a Mac is not a requirement...they're just so expensive! (Soon...very soon.) :) I am so excited! I hope I get it.

I used to work at Apple - not the Store, but corporate. It's a good company and there's lot of room to move up within the stores themselves. They like people who like macs - doesn't matter if you have one - it matters if you can express passion and love for the product.

Good luck!

Hey, thanks, guys! The interview went well, I think. I was listening to a guy demonstrate iLife to an old lady who just bought a MacBook Pro...lucky...and then had the interview, so I missed it. It made me want to work there even more, so I could just LEARN stuff, you know? And I think that I may get a second interview. It is only a part time job, so I couldn't quit where I work now, but maybe...We'll see. I had some schedule restrictions that she didn't seem happy about, but all I can do is wait, eh? I HOPE I GET IT!

Apple seems like a GREAT company to work for. I don't think it has fallen to the Dark Side like the current corporation I work for has. I think that it is going to take off. So with the new Intel chips in Mac computers, does that mean that Sun Microsystems are the only non-intel chips out there now that the G4 is no more? Huh.

But OS X is the BEST!

This is the kind of job all my peers want. My Apple fan peers at least. :D

Good luck getting the job. I am a Mac fan myself and I have been a few times on these Apple stores. There are a lot of workshops and such going on every day at each of these, and I think they are particularly interested on people that have talent and patience to teach, explain and demonstrate people how it all works. Do you think you are up to the task?

Oh, and it helps to love Macs too.

Oh, be still my heart.

I have almost every Mac made, from a Mac Plus to a G5.
