This guy in my school kicked a vending machine so hard a soda came out.
I wish I was that lucky
Do you know anybody who got a free soda out of the vending machine?

That happened to me, once. I went to get a pop, and there was a can of Coke at the bottom, already. i don't know how a kid could forget their pop, but I guess that it was my lucky day. :)

I once saw a guide online that claimed you could punch in certain codes to make vending machines drop specific items or change the price (potentially down to 1 cent), but I've never tried it or known anyone who has.

I got free snacks out of vending machines. The vending machines at work weren't drooping the snacks rite so we had to shake em to get em to fall out. Lots of times other people wouldn't shake it so I'd shake it & get their snacks & sometimes others would fall to. I do have a strong moral compass but I do NOT think that was wrong because the machines stole my money sometimes & if those machines had been drooping it correctly; I would not of been doing that.

Does anyone use a quarter on a string like Donald Duck :?:

I would love to know if that works. I think it needs Mythbusting. I'd bet a quarter on a string that it doesn't.

On a panel on the inside of the machine, sure. :)

there are a few ways. secret codes, pincode hacking, service code phreaking, attaching a laptop with appropriate software to service panels, rocking/tilting, battering f*** out of it, cutting & re-applying power supply etc etc etc. it varies machine to machine.

Once I put in change and when I pressed the button for Dr. Pepper, two cans came out simultaneously.

Also there was another machine where I would put in a coin, press the coin return button and a few more coins would come out, I'd stick another coin in and repeat the process. I got all kinds of free change.
