Didn't tell me anything, learned on my own, like many other things. Also conservative parents, they thought learning about it in health class was enough. They did say to not have it until I'm married, as "it'll be worth it" or something like that.
Needless to say... I dislike their views, but I don't really intend to have sex until I'm married. It's just not worth thinking about for me. I'm more interested in a relationship that won't end, than having sex with multiple partners over the course of years. I'm not asexual or have no sex drive, but I'm just not interested in that in the real world.
I'm still a virgin, but... I don't really care. If I'm really interested in sex, for some reason, there's pornography. Next to that, I really just don't care. Not worth my time. Besides, the drama it causes and inevitably, difficulties it'll cause (i.e., say a "mistake" happens and she's pregnant), it isn't really worth the risk for me. It's not so much an "honorable-to-God" reason (though I am a Christian), as much as a "doesn't matter" reason.
