For me the help and support I sought has been good, my main desire is good quality information.

I hate conflict and due to the nature of this community, its like 2 steps forward then 1 step back. I will continue to sidestep these areas of conflict

I have learnt much here, much more than just reading the books from the AutismNZ library. Health professionals will reply with a company line reply, whereas the intelligent regulars here are a deep mine of profound knowledge, and can answer with anecdotal stories, which I like.

My biggest complaint would be exposing myself to ugly/negative postings, which could bring me down if I'm insecure

I'm quite new here, and new to my DX of AS, but have been reasonably active.
