What is your favourite type of exercise?

I like swimming and walking mostly. I don't mind using gym equipment either.

What's yours?

Note: This includes yoga etc.

i most like swimming laps in a large lap pool. but now i live so far from civilization that i haven't been near a pool in 5 years. so second place would be bicycling, i have a nice electric hybrid bike that helps my older knees pedal up the longer hills, but i pedal on my own power everyplace else. when it is too wet outside for biking, then i am indoors on a treadmill.

Team sports when I was younger and could get people to play. Social activity was so much easier for me when I was actively doing something instead of sitting around and talking.

Now it is more a toss-up between running and gym equipment, though I do like my outdoor nature sports when I get the chance to do them.

I like the gym for the variety it offers, from weight training, to cardio equipment, and classes which does include yoga. I also have free weights I use at home as well. The only ways I feel safe on a bike is either the stationary ones at the gym, or the bike path at the beach because idiot drivers ignore cyclists all the time.

I like walking in the wilderness by myself. It's nice because I can take my camera with me, and record how beautiful nature is.

Bicycling, hiking and weights are my favorite ways of keeping fit.

I abhor exercise, but the things that do get me to do it are generally fun... and almost always competative.

Basketball, laser tag (believe it or not, but crouch-running around all across the place definitely tires you out, and made me sore for almost two weeks... and a lot of fun!), fencing, rock climbing, and "running".... I love running and racing people... love the thrill and the feeling of going fast/wind/going somewhere... but absolutely hate the insane amount of exhaustion and pain I'm in while doing it... but if theres a race to a place? I will run my ass off in order to beat someone, even if I do feel like dying...

...I just can't recreate any of that motivation on my own XD

I like to walk on the tredmile(spelling?) and do some crunches and sittups. Most of the time, I do love to dance. Dancing can really bring my energy up.

I really enjoy biking. A key factor in my search for a house to buy is it's proximity to a bike path.

But when it is raining, I use a Nordic track machine and do sit-ups.

I like running and swimming the most. I try to run every day as long as the weather's nice. I've always loved swimming, but I have no way to get to the pool anymore. :(

I'm going to start doing crunches, squats and free weights, not because they're fun, but because I want to tone my stomach, thighs and arms.

90 mins of Ashtanga Yoga 5 or 6 days a week, also dancing nearly every day, ride a bike a bit. That's enough.

btw, when doctors say take 30 mins exercise each day, they mean that's enough to avoid certain chronic illness.

to maintain a good level of fitness, given an otherwise sedentary lifestyle, then 90 mins a day is needed ;)
