It wouldn't be that bad after ther first year or so and all the idiots were weeded out. Just think there would more jobs and less people in prison

It's all very simple.
In enlightened countries like Denmark, Norway, Sweeden, UK, and lots of others, guns are illegal and criminals generally don't carry guns (except serious criminals like bankrobbers etc. who still manage to find them because they really really want them).
If guns are legal then the criminals get their guns by stealing them from regular people who buy them for protection.
If guns are made illegal, then the criminals' supply of guns will dry up (noone to steal them from) and as the cops take their illegal guns from them one by one, they will soon not have very many guns at all (same like in the above mentioned countries). Their only supply of new guns will be smuggled from other countries but this is difficult to do and not very many guns will be brought in this way.
Then you can live in a pieceful society where roadrage does not lead to murder and a liqour-store is robbed with a baseballbat instead of the storeowner being bulleted in the head execution-style. You also avoid those schoolkids who slaughter their classmates with AK-47s and bullets they bought in Wall-Mart.
If you want to protect your country, then get rid of the guns *now*. The guns are ruining your country. The crap about 'rights' is lame, do you have the right to a nuke as well? how about right to own chemical weapons?

It's not that hard just look at the amount of illegal drugs and immigrants that come into the US everyday



Actually mace and pepper spray are considered in this catagory when crossing the border to Canada




In a peaceful society liquor store would not be robbed at all and you can be killed by a baseball bat too should we ban them

That is not counting the criminals running the government!! ! When you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns!! U.K. is becoming a Police State. I don't want that here!!

There's almost 100 million gun owners here in the United States. You want to make 1/3 of our population criminals?? Do you really think that's practical?? It sounds like you're advocating a Police State here.

What kind of $hitty drugs are you on?? We can't keep 12 million Mexicans out of this country. How could you possibly stop gun smuggling??

Wrong!! You would have a totaly vulnerable population wh would be terrorized by a handfull of criminals who did have guns.
