Did you ever get the impression that members respond to you differently based upon the avatar you use? I feel like I'm getting more respect now that I use a pretty avatar.
It's like I'm being handled with kid gloves...strange!

I've noticed that since I've gone from Sid the rat and the 70s, back to The Kinks and the 60s, that I've been treated more kindly.

I've noticed that people seem to find me to be more approachable ever since I started using avatars of Tim Burton characters. Back when I used to use pictures of Hellsing and Trinity Blood characters, only very few people ever talked to me.

Reading that has motivated me to change my avatar. So, I did!

I don't think an avatar makes any difference to me but I do notice like some people who change their avatar, they seem to act slightly different unless its just me?

Yes, I think people perceive me as much more vile, repulsive and immoral based on my avatar than they would if I was using something like Happy Bunny or Buddy Christ.

I just really think people judge you on appearance even on the internet whether they think so or not or whether they like it or not. I myself instead of trying to change myself to suit them simple raise my middle finger and let them misinterpret me. I'm not bright colors, love peace and happiness in the flesh, blah blah blah, etc. I'm a cynical passive aggressive but good natured person.
