Plotinus - Squarepusher

Been listening to a lot of him lately.

His interview on The Needle Drop was neat.

The pattern of my life and the puzzle that is me

From a period (early 1980s) when it seemed that British chart music might still be alive and well. It wasn't to last - within a couple of years we had stuff like Wham dominating the scene, and it was all over...

Still, this is The Human League, fronted by Phil Oakey with backing singers Joanne and Susan, who always fascinate me for some reason. They were from Sheffield in South Yorkshire, which was going through an 'interesting' period at the time, for one reason or another.

Steve Roach's The Dream Circle.

I tend to listen to ambient/space or trance. It improves things without distracting me.

"Atmospheric Space — Soundworlds created for altering the perception of time and heightened sense of space."

"Healing Arts — Music specifically proven over time to enhance the path to wellness and deep inner peace. Supportive of Yoga, Meditation and body work."
