I have heard that more autistic people are born in March and Winter and was wondering if it's true. It just seems odd to me.

I was born in the fall (November). What would a birth month have to do with autism anyway? :?:

I suspect there will be more autism in AUgust and AUTumn :wtg:

No, but semi more seriously, I have a crazy idea that introverts are born in cold months, and extroverts in warm months.

I do not know who came up with that theory or why they did.

I was born in November (a fairly chilly month in many places in the Northern hemisphere) and I'm autistic and an introvert.

March. I've also heard it is more common in winter months but I don't see much truth in that. People are most often born in the northern hemisphere in fall because winter is when people get cozy enough for sex, simple as that.

Probably putting season rather than month would help given, you know, the roundness of the planet and it's wobbly spin.

Yeah, because November is spring in the southern hemisphere, and January is summer... while June is winter.

Well, I'm about to discredit that idea when I say that I was born in July, and I'm one of the most introverted people I know of.

I was born thirty years to the day as my mother.
My mother and my self were born near the end of march.
I do not think there is any corilation to when a person was born.
except maybe if there was something perhaps really tramatic happening
when a person is being carried
I mean like my mother was really worried about the Cuban missle crisiss
have read some people beleive autism is caused by a mother being stressed
while carrying a child.
I do not beleive this my self because I am only one of many in the family
on the spectrum and we are all different ages
