On an unrelated note, partly to get that reminder of Kaori getting turned into tomato paste by Tetsuo out of my head, I'm attending a screening of Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance tomorrow. I wouldn't be mentioning this, except that Yuko Miyamura (the voice actress for Asuka Langley Soryu/Shikinami) will be there, signing autographs.

Don't see it when it's released. Problem solved.

As long as they don't touch Ghost in The Shell. ( If they did I wouldn't see it anyways, I'd just hear about how sucky it was)

Actually, I think Spielberg is going to do an adaptation of Ghost in the Shell.

BTW, people, apparently the rumour about Zac Efron was false. IGN posted an article today to that effect.

Spielberg eyyyy.... hmmm he gave me Jurassic Park so i would give it a go. He doesn't f**k things up when it comes to fiction.
But either way I'd still like the anime better, always.

He can give it a go though, I just hope he doesn't rape Shell as he raped Indiana Jones last film. No movies past 2000 are any good. Entertaining yes, memorable no.

He was young!Simon. It should be noted that Sean Maher (adult!Simon) is far better looking than Zac Efron will ever hope to be.
