I like "All the Lonely people" as Iam one of the lonely people they are singing about even though they dont know me, just as nobody came to Ella Marigby's funeral, (except maybe Father Mackenzie might have been there), Ive allways known nobody will come to mine, just like when I was Christened, there was just me, my mum, and the vicar.

look at me working- i also darn my socks in the night when there's nobody there. what do i care?

Good question...so many for so many reasons/times/occurrences.

1. You Never Give Me Your Money (Abbey Road): The switch at minute 1:31 takes the song a bit deeper, 2:10 is amazing, and @2:47 - wow - I don't know why but I feel like I'm flying when I hear that drop. This song was the "soundtrack" running in my head for a long time, when finding freedom from things that were holding me back from enjoying life.

2. Tomorrow Never Knows (Revolver): Having the sitar in their music was genius, but recording it backward for this song - SO ahead of their time. "Lay down all thought, surrender to the void", such powerful words, such a challenge for us Aspies too (for me at least)!

3. Norwegian Wood (Rubber Soul): My childhood favorite, my first introduction to the sitar (an obsession), which lead me to a major respect and adoration for classical Indian music.

Strawberry Fields Forever & I am the Walrus

I like Help! a lot for reasons I don't fully understand. I have played guitar along to it literally thousands of times over the past three or four years. Once I played along to it looping in the media player six hours straight, about 150 times! My web site has a page I wrote with a metaphysical analysis of the lyrics. The song could be taken as an appeal to one's ground of being or higher consciousness. I like that one isn't asking to be carried as in the famous poem about footprints in the sand, but to "Help me get my feet back on the ground."

This recording was from a year ago. I actually play it better now but need to be re-recorded.

Tough one. Maybe Fool on the Hill. Other candidates are I'm Only Sleeping and Norwegian Wood.

My first album was Revolver when I was in second grade. I loved laying on the floor with my dad's big headphones, listening to his albums. I didn't buy all the CDs until High school.

My favorites are:
Rain: simply yet profound lyrics
Eleanor Rigby: talks about isolated people, something I can relate to
Tomorrow Never Knows: just a trippy and mellow ride, with a laid back way of looking at life (the sounds are amazing)
Fool on the Hill: almost sums up how I feel about myself
A Day in the Life: insanely amazing use of sounds and lyrics (which don't mean much, just mashing together of random things they read in paper and ideas)

The Beatles are a spectrum of sounds, styles and ideas have filled my head for so many years and have always been a refuge for me.
